Administrative Coordinator
Description: The Buffalo Theatre Alliance (TBTA), a collection of WNYs finest professional theatres working together as one to provide market awareness and support for the regions theatrical productions, seeks a motivated and dedicated individual with the ability to multi-task to become its first Administrative Coordinator. The Administrative Coordinator will implement and coordinate a wide range of activities: from special events to marketing and group sales, from audience surveys and research to the development of a TBTA website and the participation in public policy discussions. This is a one person office and the ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial sense and the ability to manage multiple and concurrent activities. The Administrative Coordinator will report directly to the TBTA President and Executive Committee. Qualifications: The successful candidate will have excellent private and personal communication skills and will be invested in and have a level of familiarity with the Buffalo community. A B.A. degree or commensurate experience in administration/sales is necessary with not-for-profit experience preferable. In addition to entrepreneurial skills, the candidate must be able to multi-task, possess excellent writing, computer and public relations skills, and be acquainted with multi-media applications. The candidate does not need advanced website design experience but must have basic website management skills. The candidate must also exhibit excellent public and private communication skills.
