A fresh US air strike has left at least four people dead and six others wounded in Baghdad's Sadr City district, Iraqi officials say.

The air strike just after midnight was near Al-Albaith mosque in the centre of Sadr City, the stronghold of cleric Moqtada al-Sadr. Police say that two of the dead were brothers aged seven and nine.

The Mahdi Army and Iraqi forces along with US troops have been involved in fierce clashes since March 25 after Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki ordered a security crackdown in the southern city of Basra.

Some of the Iraqi cities have seen numerous US air and ground strikes since March 25. Scores of civilians including women and children were killed during the strikes.

Press TV takes revolutionary steps as the first Iranian international news network, broadcasting in English on a round-the-clock basis.

Our global Tehran-based headquarters is staffed with outstanding Iranian and foreign media professionals.

Press TV is extensively networked with bureaus located in the world's most strategic cities.

Next time try not to use a state run media outlet as your source of information.

Thank you, America for your gift of Democracy.
How nice that
one million of our people are dead
and
one million plus people injured
and
over two million people have left Iraq!
and
we have little in education for our children, our economy is in the toilet, like our drinking water and our sub-standard medical care
and
our lives are much worse than under Sadaam.
Enjoy our oil, America!

Thank you very much, America and lying western media who show mainly "happy" people and "progress" in your staged photos and video, now please get the F out of our country so we can
you have "helped" us enough, America

***I'm speaking on behalf of our troops and of course the Iraqi civillians, not the tens of thousands of terrorists or "hornet's nests" we created by invading Iraq and my post doesn't make me a "bad American" and as stated on another thread,
I'm not being "unpatriotic" because "patriotism" is a totally meaningless word used for personal/financial gain especially under a fascist regime like we're enjoying here in the former "land of the free"
(too many of our brave are STILL in Iraq and Afghanastan fighting for corporate profits and nothing more)***
