Who specifically should be allowed a take home vehicle and why?
Who currently has one and why?
Should they be marked so the public knows it's county owned?
What type of vehicle should they be driving?
What should be done with the vehicles when they go on vacation or a trip?
Sould non take home vehicles be assigned or pooled?

Why should anyone have a take home vehicle??????????????
I, along with you, drive my own vehicle to work.
I could see in cases when it comes to law enforcement, and maybe a few others, but thats about it.
Let them drive their own cars and get reimbursed.
See, we can agree on some things..............................

its a balance. You have to pay for mileage on a personal car so if someone is putting on tons of miles it may be cheaper to provide a vehicle.
