This may be a few weeks old, but I thought it was worthy of a new thread.

A legal notice was published in the Hamburg Sun(the designated Town newspaper) that a public hearing on the Fire Protection Contract was to be held at the Boston Town Hall on Monday, November 19, 2007 at 6:00 PM.

It was dated November 15, 2007.
It was published November 22, 2007.

A waste of taxpayers money for posting the notice, or incompetency on Mr. Shenks part?

Or maybe both?

Maybe someone could shed some light on this for me.

It was purposely printed after the date of the hearing

Why would it be purposely printed after the hearing? Was it some big secret the town board didn't want the taxpayers to know about?

What do you want? A new fire truck or two new fire trucks??

Little Hilter seemed to slid the money you needed to buy them out of my pocket as a tax payer.

can anyone say

BIG WASTE OF TAX PAYERS MONEY!!

Seeing I'm not from your area... how bad are the politics in your area?

How about starting a thread and giving a list of all the new players that won in this last election

I find it quite disturbing that the Town Board Minutes from the November 19, 2007 special meeting are not posted on the Town Web page.

The board meeting minutes from Nov. 21, 2007 is posted.

Maybe Mr. Shenk is trying to hide something from the general public???????

Or maybe just an oversight??????????

Does a town of our size really need a town clerk and "THREE DEPUTY CLERKS" to run the clerks office??????????? Seems like a little overkill to me......

Just my opinion of course.........

With a full-time town clerk, and 3 deputy town clerks, why does it take so long for the board minutes to be posted on the Town of Bostons Web Page?

Oh for crying out loud...ever hear of job sharing? Maybe you should attend meetings and see how their salaries are? Secondly, ever think there is much to a job title. Doesn't mean they all get the same pay. Why don't you just attend theTown Meetings instead of doing all your crying here. That way you can ask all of your questions that REALLY shoudl be asked at the meetings to the people that are involved.

You're disgusting.............try being some what of a gentleman on here. And quit the ethnic crap by the way. I've read so many of your posts since before the elections and each time I get more disgu:mad: sted that I finally had to say something. Do you just sit on here and speak your peace or do you actually go to the Town Board Meetings and show a face and ask questions?

Okay maybe you should ask the Town Webmaster? Maybe that person hasn't had time to put them on the website? Hellooooo...not the politicians that post these things on the Town's website ya know?

Why bother? Anyone can check the Jan. board minutes to see what the salaries are. I would rather get my info from well-informed voters like your-self, than waste my time at a board meeting. Here's an example of an intelligent question posed at a recent board meeting:

Supervisor Eagan asked Highway Superintendent Telaak how many plows are being used in the highway department.

Enough said....................

All I have to say is WOW!!

Watch out Bob Telaak sounds like Bully Eagan and the Town Bozo Board is setting you up.

LESS THAN TWO YEARS AND EAGAN IS GONE!!!
