truth is that there are alot of hidden travesties that confront our troops

predatory loans and credit cards

families that windup on welfare and food pantries while soldiers are shipped out

veterans hospitals that remove handicapped and disabled troops without lifelong medical care, artificial limbs, physical therapy

veterans benefits that remove disabled soldiers from disability by playing games with statistics as far as where they were injured, whethe it was a combat injury, etc

addictions

etc.....and while our nation glamorizes war...to gain enlistees...and protect our nations foreign policy....they ignore the lives our nation was entrusted.

Our government don't care about its Veterans...it was shown with Nam vets, and now with Iraqi Veterans....They just don't care !!!!!!!

We need to FIX the problem NOW!!!

You will never fix this problem, nor will you ever change policies my buddy vets from Nam tried for years in the 80's, and we still got F**K over. Her is an example me:

1. Lost my combat support group (Rap group) after many years. I still need a group but the VA knows that but will not place me into another group setting.

2. Lost my therapist through retirement, but the VA felt I would work well with a draft dogging jerk who was open about his political roll in the 60's and 70's.

3. 39 years later...I continue to isolate myself due to my PTSD issues. As the VA puts it..."There is nothing we can do for you."

This is why the VA ,and our Washington idiots on the hill will never make the right changes to help the men, woman, who return home all messed up in body, and all in the head. Once your head is place on backwards you will never get it back on right. Here, do you really think Sen. McCain's head is on right, and he spent 7-8 years as a POW ?

You really want to help veterans, don't treat them like their nuts when they do something strange to your view because it is normal to them, and may be it kept them alive before there go, they continue to use the same odd behavior you think is strange.
