From what I have gathered from the post is seems the administration cost for this program is high. Of the budget given to them, how much actually ends up going to the people it's supposed to help?

There seems to be too much emphasis on payroll with this org. When you have an Exec Dir approaching $80K and his minion receives a $20K raise in ONE YEAR, you have to start asking the hard questions.

Here's one that relates to the above:
Why did COO Joshua Randle recieve a $20,000 raise in one year? This is unheard of in the nonprofit sector. I can see a major corporation whose COO receives this type of raise, but when you have the worker bees making a stipend with education grant per year that amounts to under $20K per person for a 40 hour work week it seems the fat cats continue to eat while the sweat shops are allowed to maintain.

If you look to Mr. Randle's CV on ZoomInfo (http://www.zoominfo.com/Search/PersonDetail.aspx?PersonID=294256619)you will see his tenure is based in WNY AmeriCorps/WSYB without the background of someone that has the experience needed for such a lofty position. Shouldn't someone in his position have better qualifications, stronger experience outside of the organization, and better academic qualifications PRIOR to their position?

So, it appears the zoominfo site no longer carries this person! This sort of garbage is everything I've fought against since moving here. What about John Lawson? Isn't he a big shot there, too?

I have a question for you-why would your COO make more money than the boss (Lazzara)?! Mr. Randle does not have a college education yet (he's working on it) and does not have job experience either. When he came to the Youth Bureau he was an AmeriCorps member earning a stipend. Boy has he come a long way in a short amount of time! I would like to know why he was given a $20,000 raise this year. Is he worth it? Jim Lawson is a good guy. He works hard for the kids and doesn't make a lot of money. When you see summer camp, movie night and band and coffee night, those were his ideas. He walks the walk when it comes to helping the kids.

No, he's in there. Try this link:

Here's another question about Joshua Randle. When was he just a stipend member and how long did it take him to go from member to program manager to COO?

I think we're on to something here, kids.

Is that the same Lawson that was involved with the soccer park?

It's Jims brother who was involved in the soccer park. Jim has been at the Youth Bureau for quite a few years.
As far as Randle goes, I think its only been about 6 or 7 years. He started as a tutor with AmeriCorps. Now he's a COO! Wonder boy!

six or seven years - from a stipend member under $20K to COO without a degree or business or nonprofit acumen. Who does Randle have something on? Clark? Lazzara? Strange bedfellows, my friends, strange bedfellows. Oooops  did I say that?

Sorry, I just can't get this out of my head, it makes no sense. This kid was making under $20,000, six years before he recieved a $20,000 raise in one year's time.

Something stinks in West Seneca, neighbors, start asking questions, no make that DEMANDING ANSWERS!
