I only hope New York State goes through with its charter law when these charters are up for their 5 year review.

Of the 5 charters that were started first in this area I would only say two are making the grade in Buffalo and the other is actually in Kenmore. There are two out there that may be shut down and one that has gone through teachers and principals like they were water. In my opinion, that particular school should not have its charter extended.

Again I think leadership is the key to these schools are what extras you can bring to the kids. The results of these schools again tend to mirror the socioeconomic status of its population so what is being done to improve these children's lives.
