The Lackawanna School Board has recently appointed a new member to fill the vacancy of ex school board member Ernesto Leonetti. You may remember that Leonetti resigned in order to avoid the public humiliation and his ultimate removal from the board for inappropriate and racially motivated comments he made at a school board meeting.
The person that was selected to take his place is Maureen Murphy-Gambino.
Her resume.........well...... she owns a bar. Great, now we have 2 bar owners on the board.:(
She is also a secretary. Not just any secretary mind you.....but Norm Polanski's PERSONAL secretary. Great, now Norm can try and influence school matters on a daily basis with his PERSONAL secretary.
Her husband......well he's a maintenance man at city hall wouldn't you know. Great, now Norm can hold Maureen's husband's job over her head if she doesn't do what Norm wants her to do on the school board.
Can we say......CONFLICT OF INTERESTS!!!!!!!!!
Makeyenko has his little puppet (Friend).
Norm now has his very own little puppet (Gambino).
And they both share their little puppet (Rozwood)!
