According to the local papers the building inspector hadn't performed any of the required fire inspections for two years, was doing construction work through his private company that he was also responsible to inspect, granted certificates of completion for building projects that had code violations and submitted time sheets to the town for time he wasn't in Alden. Not sure what the outcome is, supposedly it is now involved in hearings.

Yes he is. That's why I asked if you were in fact him. Based on some of your postings I thought maybe you were him. Glad to know you are not.

The Alden Building Inspector was a man who did his job and was falsely accused. The Supervisor and a councilman wanted him gone. This guy never was informed of any wrong doing until he went to work on January 3rd and was told that he was fired. Isn't it interesting now that he is gone how some people have to get permits and some do not. He worked for the town for 5 years, and I know for a fact that during the October storm he donated his own generator to keep the sewer plant running to make sure that the residents near E/W Alaura would have power to keep their sump pumps working. This is a case of politics at its worse.

Does anyone really know what the story is? The rumors have been flying about the Supervisor.
