Another mobile home park

Hey look, I'm not against anyone for living in a mobile home. Everyone should have a choice on where they live.

But I think two in the Town of Boston is plenty.

Hope the Planning Board puts this to bed.

Why the negativity towards trailer parks? Social, economic, or otherwise?

I'm not trying to stir things up. Back in my youthful days as land-use planner I wrote papers advocating the elimination of trailer parks (ie. guy who thought he knew how everyone else should live). It's kind of weird the mixed emotions I have about this subject considering I grew up in a park. Just wondering why you are against the proposed development.

I am curious as to what it will look like ..... some of these trailers look better than some of the homes my friends live in ..... i am not kidding .... it all depends on what the park is letting in as far as models ....

I hate the wording of trailer parks. I like the politically correct name mobile home communities.

I bring no negativity towards mobile home communities, lets be clear on that.

The proposed land that the developer wishes to use was destined years ago to be part of a near-by subdivision. It never game to fruition from what I hear, due to a hardship with the developer.

Myself, I would rather see some type of housing for seniors that want to downsize. Maybe some smaller homes that they could purchase. I've seen it done it other communities and I believe it would work.

Oh, I agree. Some of those mobile homes are very nice.
