The Buffalo Bills (http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/gen/Buffalo_Bills_50A6B6E6666E44E5B5DDDB1D0F8D9496.htm l) have secured two partnership pacts -- one that aids the team's players and another that assists area students.

Enlyten Inc. (http://www.bizjournals.com/search/bin/search?q=%22Enlyten%20Inc%22&t=buffalo), a division of HealthSport Inc. (http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/gen/HealthSport_Inc_D28F15F846E34781A3931A145C347F43.h tml), has signed a multi-year deal with the Bills that will supply the team with sportstrips designed to replace electrolytes that athletes lose while exercising. The Bills are the first National Football League (http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/gen/National_Football_League_A6FBA5A537A2499F87B8D8F8C 01DA9EC.html) to sign a sponsorship deal with Enlyten.

The Bills also formed a partnership with Time Warner (http://www.bizjournals.com/buffalo/gen/Time_Warner_E4B949BA05E54A3EB04DC5F431E52E7A.html) Cable to help sponsor the Buffalo Bills Students Leadership program.

The Bills Student Leaders program was established four years ago to work with high school students on community-leadership issues. The students bring those skills back to their respective high schools.

This year, the Bills had 32 students in the program with one, Kayla Tomblin from Ellicottville High School (http://www.bizjournals.com/search/bin/search?q=%22Ellicottville%20High%20School%22&t=buffalo), winning a $500 scholarship. Her initiative had students and the Ellicottville community donate food to a local church, help a local family cover some medical expenses, provide Christmas for 28 needy families, and aid in a local blood drive.

Applications for the 2007-2008 Student Leaders program will be available on Friday through the Buffalo Bills.

There is one way to raise revenue for small market teams. The NFL is a marketing giant. The average price to put a name on astadium is 8mil/year. Ralph should get over himself and cash in. Where does he think signing bonuses come from.
