With 12 foreclosed commercial and residential properties up for sale, the City of Tonawanda will hold a real estate auction at 10 a.m. Thursday in City Hall.

Registration for the auction begins at 8:30 a.m. Successful bidders will be required to pay a 10 percent deposit on their property, plus a 10 percent buyer’s premium payment to the auctioneer. All winning bids are subject to approval by the city.

Information about the properties, as well as terms and conditions of the auction, are available at the treasurer’s office in City Hall.

I'm a little confused. Seeing you posted this information on Thursday, March 29, 2007 at 10:20 p.m., and the auction is Thursday at 10 a.m., can I be reasonably sure it will be held on an upcoming Thursday? If so, what date? The article listed no date.

I'm considering the idea of becoming a suburban slumlord. :D

It was yesterday.

Most of the stuff I saw fell into the category of "****hole" or "economically obsolete". Th good stuff gets picked up by the "we buy houses" guys weeks prior to the foreclosure auction.
