St. Paul, MN (WGR 550) - The Buffalo Bandits piled 12 first half goals on the Minnesota Swarm and then held off a second half rally to win 16-15.

John Tavares scored five goals, including the first three for Buffalo, and added four assists to bring his season point total to 69. Tavares is now tied with Rochester's John Grant for the NLL scoring lead.

Dan Teat and Cory Bomberry both had eight-point performances for the Bandits. Teat scored four times and assisted on four goals. Hey be nice to the only team so far to bring championships of a major league to Buffalo(alright it's a minor sport but it's still major league.)
