What type of leave did his wife, the Chief of Police for the City of Tonawanda, Cindy Young, take during this time and are taxpayers footing the bill for their absences?

Don't most police departments have policies that prohibit their officers from having contact with known felons, and if such a policy exists for the City of Tonawanda PD, how will Young comply?

When you retire from a municipality in NYS, usually you get paid accrued sick days. So he didn't have to work, and burned a bit (or more) of his cash settlement.

She retired. Also burned some sick time. They must have decent advice, very shrewd and calculated moves here. If Litz goes to jail, I wonder where? His type would not do well in the general population.
