A new crash, fire and rescue station is in the works at the Niagara Falls Air Force Base.
The project, part of a larger expansion effort, is being financed by the federal government and is designed to serve the 914th Air Reserve and 107th Air National Guard Unit. Officials said the unit is taking on additional responsibilities and has outgrown its current facilities.
