I'm pruning the forums down some.
I merged threads from the less traveled forums into the more popular forums.
Do you like the forum that is mostly just polls or would it be fine to just have polls within the forums they are refering to?

I would keep the polls in the forum they refer to.

I would just move the polls into the speakup forum and remove the forum all togeather then?
I'm thinking less is more :)

That sounds good, I don't think you need a separate forum just for polls.

Poll out the idea of pruning and what would be the best way to do it.

It will take for ever to get it done if we do that. :) I already prune a few away....
Last two forums I was thinking about are
The Indian owned Casinos in New York State (http://forums.speakupwny.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31)
Erie County Libraries (http://forums.speakupwny.com/forumdisplay.php?f=160)
Not a lot of activity but important topics.
and should
Positive Points of Western NY (http://forums.speakupwny.com/forumdisplay.php?f=50)
be moved down to where we have the
Local Community Issues, Groups and organizations (http://forums.speakupwny.com/forumdisplay.php?f=59)

For gosh sakes just do it!!!! Man lets all go swing on the vines of the trees of the Amazon………
How should I change the burnt out light bulb????
Well, make sure you are not standing in water.
Get up to burnt out light bulb.
Unscrew counter clockwise until bulb becomes free from light socket and place it out of the way..
Take new bulb.
Place new bulb up to light socket and Screw clockwise until light bulb becomes snug in light socket.
If power to light socket is on then light bulb should glow bright.
If power to light socket is off, turn power on to light socket.
Light bulb should glow bright.
Otherwise go to trouble shooting steps………….
The Indian owned Casinos in New York State is for all intensive purposes is old news. The Buffalo Casino is being built despite the efforts of DTW. Turning stone is still there and is not going to close anytime soon.
Erie County Libraries it was a tuff call but one that really needed to be done. The libraries that were closed were not like Saddam’s former palaces. Some of the book materials were so old that bookworms even refused to call it their home.
I think there needs to be more library closing and conciliation into strategically placed few super new modern library facilities. People who squawk it is not accessible just down their street from where they live then these people will just have to drive, take a cab, ride a bicycle, or become expert hitchhikers in order to get to the new library.
Positive Points of Western NY. That is a tough one…. It is becoming so less and less……. But we still have the empty tollbooths and of course Bass Pro is coming to Buffalo!!!!!!! I just washed my pom poms and I have a new cheer leading routine that I have been working on. Come on Hilary!
Local Community Issues, Groups and organizations Whatever.

Yow--you HAVE pared the threads down, res. Why the casino thread when it's THE top topic in Buffalo at this time. Couldn't that go under the other casino forum?

Makes no difference. There's only one forum. All the subforums are really no more than threads.
There's two types of threads. Political and non-political.No need to have a seperate forum for Elma, et al.
This is the internet.

Actually, 3 threads..the bikini one needs one by itself, because it is both political and non-political.

No! Do NOT eliminate the old threads. They're the best ones.

You will see that there's more cut out than you think, stevenco.
Some people have done a lot of research and that stuff will be gone forever.
But, hey.......who'll notice?
