Has anyone in the southtowns that uses the 219 realized the 219 speed limit is now 65mph from Springville to just past the Berg Rd over pass? Read the signs people, that's why they are posted.

The 65 mph Speed limit between Rt391 and Berg has been in place a while. I don't remember exactly when, but I want to say since last summer? Thinking almost a year now. I was surprised when on my commute in the am, I was getting passed on the way into work like I was going North in the Southbound lane...

the signs went up last year and traffic flow between 65 and 70 most of the time. during off hours I have found a few in the right lane going 55 but there is room to pass. My only peeve with the 219 is people who try to merge into traffic at 45. i know some of the off ramps were good for 55 but are not long enough to enter or exit at 65 but still find the gas peddle befor you get run over

Love it, Glad to see that many have noticed.. yes the signs have been up for quite a while, that's why I dont understand why people are still driving like Miss Daisy. They dont own the road..
Really people need to remember back when they took their drivers test and remember the rules of the road and also courtesy. Oh yeah those red lights on every corner of your vehicle, they should remember how to use those as well.
I cant stand how people drive these days.. I drive from Boston to the Northtowns everyday and cant stand how rude people have become on the road..
Here's an idea, what if, say every 10 years or so people whould have to re-take the written and driving exam? Bet a lot of people would fail..

My truck has a vibration problem at 60mph+ that isnt worth fixing imediately.

I cruise in the right lane at 55. Pass in the left at 60 when I wont disturb the momentum of anyone who may be coming up behind me. Then its always back to the right lane at 55.

If Im going to intersect with on-ramp merging traffic I either speed up, slow down, or move to the left lane, again, to not disrupt anyones momentum.

My radar detector is just to show me where the cops are and remind me to flop the seat belt strap over my shoulder and hold my cell phone below the windows until the cops are gone.

Im the perfect driver. Most everyone is either an idiot or an ass hole.

yes sir captain.

I prefer something SUV style, performance modified, and bullet proof kept in your garage.
You bring the women, booze, and cash.
I'll drive and keep up with the maintenance.

If you need a helicopter or jet, I can line that up no problem.

Speed limits are just a socialists attempt to impose communism on us and subvert the constitution.

Government has no business determining speed limits. Let the free market decide the speed limit.

It goes deeper than that...

The majority of society (95%) is made up of morons, imbeciles and idiots. Idiots are the dumbest.

Socialists are much more than just stupid and incompetent. Socialists are selfish and lazy. When a socialist encounters another person who has found ways to live healthier, more comfortable, and more efficiently for a fraction of what I would cost the socialist, the socialist gets jealous. Jealousy turn to anger, and the socialist wants to steal from the balanced person living in true freedom instead of educating themselves and gaining the ambition to work towards improving their own lives.

Then there is the hypocrisy. Socialists will say they arent prejudice. They want equal rights for all. But instead of increasing their skills to gain more rights for all to enjoy, they behave with an entitlement attitude and vote for taking the rights away from others so they can feeeeeeel like they gained some rights. Socialists are the worst kind of hypocrite!

As for traffic: Some people should just be rammed off the road and sterilized. Way too incompetent and selfishly unaware of others to be behind the wheel.
