Emery Park - Winter Blessing

The Mrs. and I have taken some trips down the 3 trails at Emery Park this Winter. We used the T-bar to get back up the hill and enjoyed the thigh burn on the way up.

I'm reminded of just one of several services we're thankful are still provided in Erie County courtesy of our tax payments. Though, if I wasn't a skier, I'd wonder who lost their marbles paying to run the lift and have lift attendants for such a remote location. "Cool".. just that.

I learned how to ski at Emery. I doubt it would have happend if it weren't free. Gotta ski if you live here, it's one of the few things I love about winter!
