After a summer long court battle, it has been ruled that both the State and the Erie County Independence Party have the authority to grant Wilson Pakulas. What this means is that Brian D. Wirth will appear on the September 15th Primary.

"The voters of the 9th District will be left the decision of whom they deem best suited to represent them in the coming November General Election. This ruling will help to wrestle control away from the Albany party bosses and help establish control of our local elections and our own interests."

Wirth has been approved by his peers at the local level. The Erie County Independence Party has pledged its support in Brian's candidacy through their endorsement.
