To those in my family and to friends who are veterans: THANK YOU for your service for our country and its citizens.

To those who currently serve to protect our freedoms, God Bless each and every one of you.

Although the following is from an e-mail that has been circulated on numerous occasions, there is no better way to express our gratitude.

It is the VETERAN, not the preacher, who has given us freedom of religion.

It is the VETERAN, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press.

It is the VETERAN , not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the VETERAN , not the campus organizer, who has given us freedom to assemble.

It is the VETERAN , not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial.

It is the VETERAN , not the politician, who has given us the right to vote.

It is the VETERAN, who salutes the Flag.

VETERANS KNOW THAT THE OATH OF ALLEGIANCE HAS NO EXPIRATION DATE.

God Bless them all!!!
