Subway helps ease the pain for taxpayers with a free cookie on April 15
Each and every customer to visit a Subway restaurant on tax day will receive a free cookie, regular or low-carb

(Buffalo, N.Y., April 7, 2004...) Subway restaurants want to give taxpayers a reason to look forward to the typically dreaded April 15 by offering everyone who walks into a Subway on tax day a free cookie.
Subway's cookies, like its bread, are baked fresh daily in each Subway Restaurant. Regular flavors include Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip M&M, Oatmeal Raisin, White Chocolate Macadamia and Double Chocolate Chip.
And, this year even low-carb dieters can enjoy a free tax day cookie thanks to Subway's new Carb-Controlled Double Chocolate Chip cookie. The free cookie is available while supplies last and no purchase is necessary.
After April 15, the carb-controlled cookie will continue to be available at select Subway restaurants along with other special cookie flavors including Peanut Butter, Sugar and Chocolate Chunk.
Subway, headquartered in Milford, Conn., has been named the best franchise opportunity in all categories by Entrepreneur Magazine in its 2004 Franchise 500, an annual ranking of the top 500 franchise opportunities in the U.S. What's more, Subway has been ranked first a record-breaking 12 times over the last 16 years.
