DON'T GET ME STARTED surfed through some of the sites on the web and I cam across one from Toronto - describing what a person paying for VIP tickets would get.
Naturally, no price was given but a telephone number was. That's not important.
What is important is the one item, among several, that caught my eye. Among the man ameneties that a VIP purchaser or Club Seat holder.....that is one of the bigger money packages was this that the buyer would receive:
PRIORITY ACESS TO PURCHASE BILLS PLAYOFF TICKETS IN BUFFALO.
As anyone knows from those glory years of the early 90s, tickets to playoff games are very scarce. After the NFL gets its share, together with sponsors and VIPs, there isn't much left for John and Mary Doe since ticket season holders get toward the front of the line.
Now, Toronto VIPs who buy the two packages offered, will be "priority access to playoff tickets." At the expense of WHO.
That's another kick in the teeth to fans but to me it seems as if the NFL and Toronto are testing the waters for whatever happens in the future. Naturally, fans are fuzzy as to the future of the Bills on Don't Get Me Started.
